Wait.........

Its been a long time, he had been waiting for a reply from her. His mind tells him that she loves him, but the other mind always goes on and starts creating doubt in him, does she really loves him? If she does, she would have answered his question.

It started almost 5 years back, when both were doing their graduation from the same college. It didn't just start in one day. They became friends, then good friends, then became very good friends. But he always liked her more than a friend and wondered whether she also felt the same?

It didn't take long  for her to understand, and one fine evening he shared his feelings. But she didn't respond, kept mum, infact tried to ignore him which hurt him a lot. So in order to prevent the relation from breaking, he backed off and pretended to be normal as if there was nothing in his heart. But he knew, deep down inside him, he loved her and cannot change that feeling for her.

Time flew by, and they both graduated, took different paths in life and carried on.

After few months she told him, she is with somebody, and that shattered him, his heart started to weep, but he never let her knew this. He congratulated her and she happily moved on without realizing how much he loved her. He always stood there waiting for her, but she didn't notice and his Wait is still continuing.

He tried to bury his feelings for her, but couldn't, as she was his first love and he just couldn't take her out of his heart. So he kept her thoughts deep inside him preserving all the memories he had. And as time went by, she lost touch with him and he wondered whether he should call her up and enquire about her? But he didn't because he knew he will not be able to hide his feelings and he didn't want her to know that he still loves her.

Couple of years passed by, he cherished those old momories, and last he heard was she went abroad to pursue her Post Graduation and also learnt that she broke up. This gave him a mixed feeling, was sad to hear she broke up but it also made him feel good about it. They started talking again, the Time Zone diference never bothered him, as he always loved to talk to her. The feelings which were deep inside him again started flourshing. He was happy, and one day he shared all his feelings with her, all untold things were told, and here he was again waiting for her reply. She kept mum, but didn't turn away like before, instead, respected his feelings.

He always beleived 'True Love Waits', and so he is, waiting, for 5 long years.But he is still unsure, are the things about to repeat itself again of will it be a new begining for him or will he be kept waited?

This just happen to come to my mind while I was alone doing nothing in my apartment.
